The revival of the Long Memorial UMW began on April 24, 2017.
Currently, there are 19 members in our group.
 
Our mission is to grow closer together as we grow closer to Christ and to reach out in support of those in need, both inside and outside of our church. Our current goals include supporting our home church (Long Memorial UMC) in order to aid in the success of its many missions, helping to accomplish continuous church growth, supporting UMCOR and assisting in filling local community needs.
 
Our current activities include Bible Study, Secret Sisters, hosting and organizing Hospitality Breakfasts on Sunday mornings, Hanging of the Greens, making and delivering prayer shawls to shut-ins and those in need of extra prayer (more than 90 to-date), and facilitating fundraisers to benefit Missions, Outreach, Worship and Facility needs.
